Recessive

Leucistic is a recessive mutation producing hatchlings that are white with a pink tint, fading to solid white as adults. It's one of the more rare morphs in the hobby.

What makes a Leucistic

  • Two copies of Leucistic — recessive, so it only shows when paired up.

This describes the genetics of the animal itself — not the odds from a pairing. Outcome odds are the Genetics Calculator's job.
